Position Overview
South Lanarkshire Council is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Sheltered Housing Officers in the Clydesdale area. This role is essential for providing support to elderly residents and individuals with special needs.

Candidates should possess experience in working with vulnerable populations, particularly in a sheltered housing environment. A relevant qualification such as an SVQ in Social Care is preferred.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong organizational skills, enabling them to manage their workload effectively while adapting to changing priorities to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Excellent communication abilities are crucial, as the role involves collaboration with various agencies and stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining tenant records, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

South Lanarkshire Council is committed to the professional development of its housing staff. As part of your role, you will be expected to engage in ongoing training and pursue qualifications mandated by the Scottish Social Services Council for housing support professionals.

Please note that the selected candidate will undergo a PVG check conducted by Disclosure Scotland prior to receiving a formal job offer.
