Position Overview
A position has become available for a Mobile Housing Support Officer tasked with assisting individuals in sustaining their tenancy and fostering independent living within their own residences, situated in a sheltered housing environment and integrated within their local community.
The Mobile Housing Support Officer will be required to work three days during the week and every alternate weekend. This role encompasses responsibilities across all Sheltered Housing Schemes throughout the Garioch and Formartine areas.
This position is classified as regulated work involving protected adults in accordance with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The selected candidate will need to enroll in the PVG Scheme or complete a PVG Scheme update check. Should an individual have spent a continuous period of three months or longer outside the UK in the past five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. The candidate will be responsible for providing this verification. A confirmed job offer and the start date will depend on the satisfactory results of both pre-employment checks.
It is essential for this role that the individual obtains SSSC Registration within three months of commencing employment.
This position requires a minimum of two references, one of which must be from the current or most recent employer.
