Position Overview: The Finance Administrative Coordinator will be integral in supporting the finance department through various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining precise financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring adherence to financial regulations. This role is perfect for individuals with a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational capabilities, and a passion for growth within the finance domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Management:
    • Handle invoice processing, verify financial data for maintaining accounts payable records, and provide necessary administrative support to fulfill the Company's obligations.
    • Manage accounts receivable invoices and accurately record customer payments.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurately documented and any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain precise and current financial records, including data entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
    • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.
  • Financial Analysis:
    • Support the finance team in performing financial analysis and generating reports as needed.
    • Assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts.
  • Compliance and Audit Support:
    • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal policies.
    • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • General Administrative Support:
    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the finance department, including filing, correspondence, and other tasks as required.

Required Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

  • Knowledge:
    • Fundamental understanding of financial and accounting principles.
    • Awareness of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar) and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Demonstrated experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounting Assistant, or in a similar capacity.
    • Experience in a production or manufacturing setting is advantageous.
    • Experience with payroll processing and bank reconciliations.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct financial analysis.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage confidential information.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant educational background in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., AAT, ACCA) are beneficial but not mandatory.
