Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures, including health and safety, membership management, and event oversight.
  • Manage food and beverage services within our primary event space, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Engage with customers regarding service offerings and oversee revenue generation from events.
Accountability:
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and overall profitability of the club.
Support:
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience and manage the club's overall financial performance.
Consultation:
  • Involved in pricing strategies, package development, and future event planning.
Job Purpose:
Lead the events team in the design, management, and execution of events that exceed client expectations, adhere to quality standards, and maximize revenue.


Collaborate with senior management to ensure resources are effectively utilized to secure repeat business.

Key Duties:
  • Design and manage events, from initial inquiry to execution, ensuring adherence to budget and client specifications.
  • Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with management to convert inquiries into revenue.
  • Promote the venue to attract new business, utilizing central marketing support.
  • Oversee the Events Manager and team, developing sales and marketing strategies for future growth.
  • Analyze competitor strategies to enhance our market position.
  • Gather client feedback post-event to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Manage financial transactions related to events and coordinate with the Accounts department.
  • Enforce health and safety policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Utilize the event management system for booking and administration.
  • Collaborate with various departments to organize club-based events.
  • Develop promotions and activities to engage members and guests.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure high-quality service delivery for events.
  • Provide recommendations for equipment needs and facility improvements.
  • Support recruitment and training of team members, ensuring performance management.
  • Approve staffing and scheduling plans in collaboration with management.
  • Ensure adherence to revenue and cost control procedures.
  • Plan and approve marketing and promotional activities for events.
  • Collaborate on menu development and pricing strategies.
  • Attend team meetings and complete additional assignments as directed.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
  • Act as an ambassador for the company's CARE values.
  • Participate in feedback initiatives related to the department.
  • Undertake duty management shifts as required.
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (event planning, catering, sales, etc.) is preferred, along with applicable experience.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • CPR, First Aid, or AED certification
