Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at MARS Recruitment. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the Tooling team and implementing best practices to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Tooling team to ensure daily operations are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Develop and implement standard policies and procedures to improve maintenance operations
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend changes to training, working practices, and processes
  • Develop and maintain a motivated and flexible team by building strong working relationships and ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of maintenance operations with other business functions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a team of Tool Setters with a background in plastic injection moulding
  • Experience in process engineering and troubleshooting within an injection moulding environment
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in a tooling role
  • Interest in engineering, mechanical, programming, and/or technical plastics
  • Motivated individual with excellent organisational, time management, and attention to detail skills
  • Creative approach to problem-solving and solutions
