Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Support Agent to join our team at TaxScouts. As a Customer Support Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving complex issues, and promoting our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Assist customers with product information, status updates on existing tax returns, tax inquiries, and technical support, ensuring a positive and helpful experience.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot customer issues, providing prompt and effective solutions to meet their needs.
  • Customer Engagement: Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and promote loyalty to our brand.
  • Accountant Management: Engage with our accountant partners to collect feedback, handle partnership queries, and clarify services.
  • Product & Tax Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to provide valuable insights to customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our product and engineering teams to raise technical issues, ensuring a seamless customer journey.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards in all customer interactions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Data Insights: Track and analyze key stats to help produce monthly and quarterly performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Prior Customer Service Experience: Prior customer service experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • Education: A degree or equivalent work experience is desired.
  • Phone Call/Live Chat Experience: Phone call/live chat experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets is desirable.
  • Passion for Technology: A passion for technology and a desire to become an expert in our product.
  • Team Player: Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technology.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and resilience in handling challenging situations.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
  • Adaptability: Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet customer needs.
