Senior Technical Sales Specialist

Fantastic opportunity for an ambitious salesperson to promote a market leader in clinical diagnostics.

This leading instrument manufacturer is seeking an ambitious and experienced sales specialist to represent their microbial identification instrumentation to clinical healthcare laboratories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales plans to grow current client accounts and identify new business opportunities
  • Prospect and follow-up on leads
  • Technical and commercial follow-ups with customers and arrange/host customer demos
  • Work closely with customers to ensure they have the correct solutions, support, and assistance required
  • Attend talks, conferences, and national/international meetings

Requirements:

  • Previous scientific sales experience is essential
  • The ideal candidate will bring experience of selling diagnostic systems and accompanying consumables
  • Excellent communication skills, organized, and proactive
  • Comfortable with significant travel (up to 60%) visiting customers' laboratories
