Technical Sales Specialist

Major Recruitment is collaborating with a prominent and established organization specializing in Metrology and Measurement solutions. They are seeking to enhance their sales team to broaden their client network across the UK.

This position offers flexibility in location across the UK, with the company assigning specific regions to each Technical Sales Specialist to optimize operational efficiency. You will engage with existing clients to promote products while also forging connections with new business prospects.

A background in sales is not mandatory; however, familiarity with Faro Arms, Laser Trackers, and CMM programming software (such as Polyworks or similar) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting product demonstrations for end users
  • Arranging meetings with prospective clients
  • Utilizing technical expertise to effectively communicate product advantages
  • Participating in trade exhibitions to generate leads
  • Gathering market insights to identify potential clients for the offered products
  • Assessing client requirements and recommending suitable products
  • Developing and nurturing client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Faro arms, PMT arms, etc.
  • Experience with Laser Trackers and peel scanners
  • Proficiency in CMM programming (Polyworks, PCDMIS, MCSOMOS, Camio, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of the metrology market, including precision engineering, aerospace, and automotive sectors
  • A valid UK driving license is required for this role
  • Capability to work independently
  • Strong organizational skills to manage your schedule effectively
