About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Facilities Manager to join our team at Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Facilities Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Facilities Services team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure that facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure that facilities are maintained and upgraded as needed.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or diploma in a field such as facilities management, operations management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in facilities management, operations management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures, with the ability to develop and implement effective health and safety strategies.
