Patient Services Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Services Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk and providing excellent customer service to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Manage patient appointments, scheduling and rescheduling as needed, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Handle incoming calls, directing them appropriately and providing information as required.
  • Process patient registrations and maintain accurate patient records with confidentiality and integrity.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
Skills and Qualifications Essential Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of workload efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good standard of education (5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English).
  • ECDL or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of working with patients or the public, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
Desirable Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment within a healthcare setting.
  • Further education or qualifications in administration or healthcare.
  • Understanding of and demonstrable commitment to equality and diversity in employment and service delivery.
