Position Overview

We are pleased to present an opportunity for a Senior Clinical Psychologist within our esteemed organization. This role comes with a relocation package of up to £8,000 for qualified candidates who may need to move to join our team.

Role Summary

The successful applicant will join a dedicated and skilled team of psychologists in our organization, focusing on both adult and older adult mental health services. We are eager to welcome individuals who are either newly qualified or have substantial experience in clinical or counseling psychology.

As part of our commitment to professional development, the selected candidate will have access to formal training in various psychological therapy modalities, including but not limited to SCM, CAT, and CBT for Psychosis. This training is essential for contributing to our transformation agenda and aligning with national health strategies.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves providing a highly specialized psychological service to clients presenting with complex mental health challenges. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and delivering tailored interventions.
  • Offering expert consultation and guidance on psychological care to colleagues and non-professional caregivers.
  • Supervising trainees and assistant psychologists, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
  • Working independently while adhering to professional guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Engaging in regular clinical supervision and continuing professional development activities.
