We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and dedicated consultant to join our esteemed clinical haematology team. This position is designed for a professional with a strong background in haematology, aimed at enhancing the clinical services provided at our facility.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing the clinical haematology services, ensuring the implementation of best practices in the field. Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting three outpatient clinics weekly.
- Providing expert care for patients receiving treatment at our dedicated cancer care unit.
- Collaborating closely with inpatient teams to deliver specialized haematological care.
- Engaging with local General Practitioners to offer haematological guidance.
- Participating in multidisciplinary teams focused on leukaemia, myeloma, and lymphoma.
This role also allows for the development of a special interest aligned with both personal aspirations and the needs of our clinical services.

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess:
- FRCP / MRCP or equivalent, along with FRCPath or equivalent qualifications.
- A Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) for UK-trained applicants or evidence of equivalence for non-UK trained candidates.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in general haematology, blood transfusion, coagulation, and malignant haematology.
