About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic consultant to join our clinical haematology service at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing consultant-level support to the development of our clinical haematology service and implementing best practice in haematology.

  • Providing consultant-level support to the development of our clinical haematology service
  • Implementing best practice in haematology
  • Leading and managing a team of haematology professionals
  • Developing and delivering clinical services to meet the needs of our patients
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways
About Us

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is a leading provider of cancer care and haematology services in the UK. Our haematology service is a tertiary referral centre for the management of patients with haematological malignancies and bone marrow failure. Person Specification
  • FRCP/MRCP or equivalent and FRCPath or equivalent
  • UK-trained applicants must hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview
  • Non-UK-trained applicants must show evidence of equivalence to the UK CCT
  • Additional research or teaching qualification desirable
  • Management training desirable
  • MD/PhD desirable
