As the nursing lead for the service, you will play a pivotal role in managing and guiding the critical care team to ensure operational efficiency and safety, while fostering a compassionate and supportive team environment that prioritizes wellbeing and a safe workplace culture.

  • Promote innovative practices and advocate for high-quality, evidence-based care.
  • Oversee quality improvement initiatives, budget management, change processes, and resource allocation within the department.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating high motivation and empowering your team.
  • Utilize advanced clinical skills in assessment and treatment, collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs, particularly regarding ongoing care and discharge planning.
