Job Summary

As the Deputy Head of Workforce Transformation and Digital Clinical System (DCS) Workforce Lead, you will play a pivotal role in implementing the New Hospital Programme (NHP) and the new DCS across Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring that workforce changes deliver the anticipated benefits while effectively engaging and consulting with staff throughout the transition process of both major projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Workforce Transformation for the NHP, the wider NHP team, senior People and OD teams, and the HR Business Partner team to support the delivery of the NHP strategy.
  • Engage in divisional conversations, emphasizing workforce considerations in the design and development of new clinical services. Encourage divisions to explore innovative ways to develop skills and capabilities aligned with new delivery models.
  • Lead pre-implementation communication activities for the DCS, focusing on incorporating staff perspectives into these communications.
  • Develop change management skills across our workforce by providing practical support to both the Implementation Team and clinical teams. Share functionality and anticipated configuration of the new DCS and how operational processes can align.
