The successful applicant will collaborate closely with colleagues in the Emergency Department and Frailty teams to ensure comprehensive pharmaceutical support.

Main Duties of the Role
• Deliver a consistently high-quality clinical pharmacy service for patients in the Acute Medical Admissions Unit.
• Collaborate with the acute medical admissions multidisciplinary team to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Develop a clinical and patient-focused pharmacy service for integrated care, ensuring patients receive safe, high-quality, and clinically effective pharmaceutical care.
• Work in tandem with Divisional Pharmacists and the Lead Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist to guarantee the safe and appropriate use of medications, including intravenous therapies.
• Serve as the pharmaceutical authority on medication use within your area of responsibility, providing specialized guidance to healthcare professionals in the Acute Medical Admissions Unit.
