Guaranteed working hours amount to 48 hours per week, subject to location and schedule. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, and weekends, with the possibility of overtime as needed. Participation in the on-call rota is required. The shift pattern consists of 7 days on followed by 3 days off, then another 7 days on and 3 days off, and finally 4 days on and 4 days off, allowing for only 2 weekends of work per month. A flexible working approach is essential, as travel may be necessary.

Chevron Traffic Management specializes in establishing temporary road or lane closures, diversion routes, and pedestrian pathways to ensure the safety of road workers and users during construction activities. This includes the deployment of road cones, signage, temporary traffic signals, pedestrian crossings, and barriers. Our work is visible throughout the country, and you may notice our signage the next time you encounter roadworks.
However, our operations extend beyond these visible tasks. They involve consultation, planning, design, estimation, and collaboration with suppliers and clients to ensure our projects are effective. We also embrace innovation and technology to enhance safety and reduce our environmental impact.

Role Overview for Traffic Management Specialist:
This is an excellent time to join Chevron Traffic Management as a Traffic Management Specialist. We are experiencing significant growth, and we need dedicated individuals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing, maintaining, and dismantling temporary traffic management setups, including cones, signs, frames, sandbags, and other equipment on low-speed roads.
- Conducting traffic counts, communicating with clients and subcontractors, and recording timings and near misses.
- Maintaining temporary traffic signals.
- Assisting and mentoring new trainees.
Ideal Candidate Profile for Traffic Management Specialist:
- Minimum qualification of SLG Unit 2.
- Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
- Physically fit and capable of passing a safety-critical worker medical assessment.
- Valid UK Driving Licence, with restrictions on points for insurance purposes.
- Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
- Adaptability and flexibility in work approach.
- Strong attention to detail.
