Position Title: Executive Administrative Coordinator

Location: This is a hybrid position, primarily based at our Head Office, with opportunities for remote work.

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience.

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 35 hours per week

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly proficient Executive Administrative Coordinator to deliver exceptional executive, administrative, and corporate assistance to the Director of Income Generation and Engagement. This opportunity arises from an internal transition within our fundraising team.

You will be instrumental in supporting our Director, who oversees our award-winning fundraising and communication teams. This department operates at a dynamic pace, necessitating an individual adept at managing competing priorities while providing a thorough and high-quality administrative service in a demanding environment. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of traditional executive assistant capabilities and the flexibility to cater to the specific requirements of supporting a director with visual impairment. Please note that our director is accompanied by a guide dog, who is an essential member of the team.

Team Environment: You will become part of a high-performing Executive Support team, collaborating with experienced colleagues and management to provide executive assistance to the Senior Leadership Team.

This role is ideally situated in our Head Office, with a hybrid working model that includes a minimum of two days on-site each week. Occasional travel to other sites may be required, and we are open to considering alternative locations for exceptional candidates.

Candidate Profile:

The successful applicant will have a background in a similar capacity, such as Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Administrator, and will demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Extensive experience in Executive Support and Administration, with a keen eye for detail and strong proficiency in MS Office.
  • The ability to operate with flexibility and professionalism in a fast-paced setting; a team player with a positive, welcoming attitude who respects confidentiality and works with discretion.
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills to effectively manage busy schedules and workloads.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities with a creative approach to problem-solving and the confidence to make decisions within the role's scope.
  • Experience in providing meeting support.
  • Previous experience in the charity or healthcare sectors is advantageous, as is experience working with volunteers.
