Company Overview
An esteemed Managed Service Provider (MSP) is on the lookout for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This position will involve occasional travel to client locations. The company operates across a range of projects, from small to large enterprises, collaborating with various vendors such as Cisco, VMWare, and Microsoft. They leverage cutting-edge technologies from these providers, including Modern Workplace solutions, Azure, and Intune.

Position Summary
The First Line Support Engineer will play a vital role within the team, concentrating on the support and troubleshooting of infrastructure technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to diagnose issues related to Windows Servers, virtualization tools, and storage systems, engaging with multiple key vendors. This support will be provided across both SME and large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all support tickets.
  • Manage incoming support requests while also taking a proactive approach.
  • Ensure consistent, professional, and relevant communication with customers.
  • Deliver support for Microsoft operating systems, servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and cloud solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Infrastructure Support role.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, VMWare, cloud technologies, and storage solutions.
  • Familiarity with Intune and Azure is preferred.
  • Experience in a Managed Service environment is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of storage systems is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
