Position: Education Support Specialist

Location: Cheshire Area

Overview:
We are currently seeking dedicated Education Support Specialists to join our team in the Cheshire area. Our partner primary schools are in need of exceptional individuals to provide tailored support, primarily on a one-on-one basis, for students with additional learning requirements.

Role Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to assist teaching staff and collaborate with fellow support personnel to enhance the educational experience of students. Key duties include:
  • Supporting the induction, assessment, and intervention processes for all students.
  • Contributing to the planning and evaluation of learning activities for both individuals and groups.
  • Monitoring and reporting on students' progress, achievements, and development to teaching staff.

Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (desirable).
  • Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ qualifications (desirable).
  • A positive, engaging, and adaptable approach to education.
  • The ability to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
  • A patient and creative mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster excellent working relationships.
