Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wholesale Manager to join our team. As a key member of our wholesale team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, promoting our products, and building strong relationships with our wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the wholesale team, ensuring sales and accounts are running smoothly
  • Promote our products and be a coffee ambassador, led by our core values and behaviours
  • Engage with and support wholesale accounts, identifying opportunities for growth
  • Maintain relationships with key accounts and communicate effectively with customers
  • Manage the wholesale account managers, ensuring their time and activities are planned correctly
  • Monitor ordering patterns and address changes in volume
  • Coordinate and process 3rd party technical support for customers
  • Conduct training when required, from our Roastery or at customers' locations
  • Work as part of a team, communicating excellently with all departments
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets, delivering top-line commercial objectives
  • Attend trade events and exhibitions as required
  • Research prospects, understand their needs, and sell them on the benefits of our products and services
  • Arrange and host sales meetings with new customers
  • Keep the new business pipeline up to date, tracking all prospecting and lead management activities
  • Work with our Roastery team and founders to identify prospects and improve conversion rates
  • Work with the Head of Coffee on The Coffee programme and forecasting sales
  • Be generous with your approach to coffee sales, developing plans and strategies to achieve this
  • Accommodate last-minute changes and problem-solve, ensuring customers' needs are met and prioritised
  • Work autonomously and manage your own time effectively

Performance Measurement:

  • Have a clear understanding of All Things Bloom's expectations with regards customer service
  • Always understand and deliver 'beautifully brewed coffee'
  • Develop positive relationships with wholesale customers, suppliers, and the coffee industry
  • Achieve sales targets in line with company budgets

Requirements:

  • An understanding of specialty coffee in the UK
  • Experience using management software Xero, Unleashed, and Shopify (not essential)
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent in all Microsoft programmes
  • Proven track record of growing sales and maintaining relationships
  • A people manager, able to grow and manage a team
