Assistant Practitioner / Nurse Associate - Leg Ulcer Clinic
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate within the Leg Ulcer/Wound Clinic.
We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate to join our innovative Tissue Viability team. This community-based team is dedicated to providing forward-thinking services.
Main Responsibilities
The position will primarily be based in the Leg Ulcer Clinic, with some potential for home visits.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, a strong team player, and able to work effectively under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are essential for effective communication with patients, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
We welcome applications from both Assistant Practitioners and Nurse Associates who possess proven clinical and communication skills to contribute to our friendly and innovative team. Previous experience in Leg Ulcer Management and Compression Bandaging is highly desirable.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to utilize a range of skills and experiences gained in clinical practice to assist registered clinicians in conducting comprehensive and holistic assessments.
A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes are essential.

Starting Your Journey with NELFT

Probationary Period
This position is subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants may be exempt from this period.
High Cost Area Supplement – London
This role also includes a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary.
