Job Overview

Assistant Practitioner / Nurse Associate - Leg Ulcer Clinic

An exciting opportunity is available for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate within the Leg Ulcer/Wound Clinic.

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Band 4 Assistant Practitioner or Nurse Associate to join our innovative Tissue Viability team in the community. This team is forward-thinking and dedicated to providing high-quality care.

Main Responsibilities

The role will primarily be based in the Leg Ulcer Clinic, with some home visits expected.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate flexibility, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and IT skills are essential for effective communication with patients, caregivers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.

We welcome applications from both Assistant Practitioners and Nurse Associates who possess proven clinical and communication skills to contribute to our friendly and innovative team. Previous experience in Leg Ulcer Management and Compression Bandaging is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be expected to utilize a variety of skills and experiences gained in clinical practice to assist registered clinicians in conducting comprehensive and holistic assessments.

Access to a car for work purposes is essential.

Probationary Period
This position is subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants may be exempt unless currently undergoing a probationary period or are bank staff.

High Cost Area Supplement – London
This role includes a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary.
