Job Title: Facilities and Site Manager

CBRE Local UK is seeking a highly skilled Facilities and Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, maintaining excellent client relationships, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and attending regular meetings as required.
  • Manage service agreements, monitoring key performance indicators and taking corrective action to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Produce management reports to support business needs and liaise with the building manager and procurement department to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor FM works onsite, liaise with service providers and subcontractors, and manage day-to-day customer relationships with the site team.
  • Communicate changes to site scope and services to the Contract Manager and help prepare quotes for additional subcontractor works.
  • Organize approved additional works with subcontractors and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain the fabric of the building to a high standard, ensuring compliance with management contracts and agreed budgets.
QHSE & Compliance
  • Ensure all health and safety compliance onsite, including third-party service providers and maintenance records.
  • Compile and maintain management information/records, including asset registers and emergency plans.
  • Conduct regular fire evacuations and ensure emergency plans and site maps are up-to-date.
  • Liaise with local authorities as required and proactively manage risk and deal with insurance issues.
  • Work with the onsite planner to provide input into planning and scheduling, including adjustments and corrections.
  • Ensure site teams follow QHSE procedures, including PPE provision, use, and inspection.
  • Complete OP61 and OP63 monthly and dynamic risk assessments for jobs not covered by CBRE site risk assessments.
  • Report incidents and accidents, producing follow-up Root Cause Analysis/Learning from Experience.
Subcontractors
  • Oversee third-party contracts to ensure the correct standard of service is provided.
  • Request RAMS from subcontractors and submit for approval at least 48 hours before service visits.
  • Notify subcontractors of planned visit dates and ensure logbooks are compliant with CBRE/Client procedures.
  • Read subcontractor worksheets and escalate any issues with the Contractor Manager.
  • Liaise with subcontractors on reported defects and ensure monitoring as per client/CBRE procedures.

Previous supervisory experience within a client environment, including line management responsibility for company personnel and contractors, is essential. Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills are also required. A high degree of knowledge of health and safety legislation, environmental protection requirements, and ideally IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is desirable.
