About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert medical leadership and guidance to our multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to ensure seamless care pathways and effective service delivery
  • Chair ward meetings and contribute to the development of our services
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the training and development of our staff

Requirements

  • Medically qualified with MRCPsych or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current developments in psychiatry and mental health
  • Previous consultant experience and management experience desirable
