We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Lead Nurse to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Lead Nurse, you will lead and coordinate the quality and management of nursing care, ensuring the day-to-day operations of your unit are performing well. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delegating nursing tasks to Nurses working in the unit and coordinating with other teams
- Monitoring service users' conditions and responding to changes
- Supervising other members within the team's unit and providing guidance and support
- Making critical decisions regarding service user assignments, staff scheduling, and resource allocation
- Being a liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, with effective communication and collaboration
You will be working alongside our clinical teams to deliver person-centred care, where each individual is at the heart of everything we do. Our specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service boasts extensive facilities that cater for the specific needs of our residents.
About YouWe are looking for a Lead Nurse who is:
- A registered Nurse with a relevant qualification and NMC registration
- A positive attitude and naturally caring and compassionate
- A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
- Relevant experience in a similar environment
- Proven track record of leadership skills
