Salary: £25,000 - £31,000 (plus benefits)

Work Type: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite in either Nairn or Inverness)

About the Role

The PMO is an integral part of the Engagement Management Community within our organization. We deliver administrative assistance to Engagement Managers, particularly in the realm of Projects and Programmes. This support can encompass various forms, from defining processes and governance to providing essential help that allows Engagement Managers to concentrate on more intricate delivery challenges. Our team is distributed across the UK and India, comprising a diverse range of skill sets from generalists to specialists. The focus is on maximizing chargeable roles for our team members, fostering an environment that encourages skill and knowledge development, which can lead to promotions and career advancement within the Engagement Management community. We also implement a Mentoring scheme to equip our team members with the necessary tools to navigate their assignments effectively.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate as part of the PMO Team, reporting to a PMO Manager as required.
  • Provide back-office support across various projects, working closely with engagement and project managers.
  • Engage in all PMO functions, including financial oversight and planning.
  • Benefit from a working environment that promotes skill enhancement and career progression.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities, with some experience in finance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Prior experience in PMO roles is essential.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Adaptable to a variety of detailed tasks.

Security Clearance Requirements

To be considered for this position, obtaining Security Check (SC) clearance is mandatory. Candidates must have resided continuously in the United Kingdom for the past five years, along with meeting other criteria.

During the recruitment process, candidates will be asked about their eligibility for security clearance, including inquiries regarding residency and nationality.

Some positions may be restricted to sole UK Nationals for security reasons, and candidates may be questioned about their citizenship during the application process.
