Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing on-site operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all work complies with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Project Oversight**: Ensure that all on-site activities are executed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines.
- **Site Coordination**: Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor construction activities to ensure that materials and workmanship meet quality standards.
- **Issue Resolution**: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
- **Health and Safety**: Ensure that all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, material deliveries, and inspection logs.
- **Budget Management**: Assist in managing project budgets by monitoring material usage, labour costs, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
- **Technical Support**: Provide technical advice and solutions to site personnel and subcontractors as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**: Attend in-house meetings and collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
**Requirements:**
- **Qualifications**: HNC/HND Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
- **Certifications**: CSCS card and SSSTS.
- **Skills**: Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- **Location**: Must be living or willing to relocate to the local area.
