• Follow the Quality Management System diligently.
• Oversee and coordinate the assigned projects effectively.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding project progress, including any potential risks and opportunities.
Project Management:
• Monitor, maintain, and keep the Construction Phase Plan current, compiling necessary information for the Health and Safety File as per the Principal Designer's specifications.
• Maintain all documentation related to Health and Safety inspections and reports in compliance with current legislation and company protocols.
• Ensure that all personnel meet required timelines and quality benchmarks while minimizing potential snagging costs.
Resource Management:
• Accurately requisition mechanical equipment within budget and in a timely manner to align with project schedules.
• Source adequate labor with the necessary skills to fulfill contract requirements.
• Assist the Commercial Manager in preparing essential reports as requested by clients or their representatives.
Waste Management:
• Ensure effective use of materials to reduce site waste and maintain proper arrangements for material segregation prior to removal from the site.
Administrative Duties:
• Handle Labour Only Sub-Contractor Returns, including holiday forms and liaising with local authority staff (e.g., planning).
Professional Standards:
• Maintain sites in a manner that reflects the company’s reputation as a professional, high-quality civil engineering firm.
• Regularly update the Company Director on project status, including any potential risks and opportunities.
Collaboration:
• Act as the primary contact for the Design Team regarding all technical matters related to the contract when required.
Performance Metrics:
• Financial performance of projects.
• Timely completion of projects to established quality standards.
• Compliance with the company’s Management System and HR Policies & Procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent management expertise.
• Achieve the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety performance standards.
• Meet the company’s Quality Performance standards.
