Construction Site Supervisor - Galliford Try

Location: Scottish Highlands

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Construction Site Supervisor position at Galliford Try, where you will oversee a segment of operations to fulfill client and organizational standards. You will be required to travel to various project sites within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a secure working environment.
  • Oversee daily activities, including team management and progress tracking.
  • Plan and assess work progress, coordinate project segments, and manage budgets.
  • Address changes in project scope and manage temporary work requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings, report updates to the Project Manager, and lead site discussions.
  • Guarantee quality assurance, conduct safety inspections, and resolve technical challenges.
  • Guide and develop the team, report to upper management, and implement innovative solutions.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to maintain safety standards.
  • Experience in bulk excavation.
  • Capability to manage multiple work packages effectively.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical data, drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with CDM regulations and NEC contracts.
  • Strong commercial awareness and leadership capabilities.
  • Relevant Civil Engineering qualification and experience.
