About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Manager to join our team at Galliford Try. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the management of our construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the construction process, including planning, execution, and completion of projects
  • Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver projects that meet their needs and expectations

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in construction management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
