The Lead Project Coordinator will also be responsible for defining project goals and maintaining quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Establish project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Create comprehensive project plans and relevant communication documents.
- Assess the resources and personnel required to meet project objectives.
- Prepare and submit budget proposals, recommending adjustments as necessary.
- Negotiate with departmental managers for the acquisition of necessary personnel within the organization.
- Identify the need for additional staff or consultants and facilitate recruitment as needed during the project lifecycle.
- Conduct staff evaluations in accordance with the company's established schedule.
- Set and continuously manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
- Develop and maintain project timelines and milestones using appropriate project management tools.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables.
- Generate and present progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze outcomes, and address any issues.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential challenges, and formulate contingency plans.
- Define success criteria for projects and communicate them to all involved parties throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and create reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for effective project execution and management.
Qualifications Required:
- Degree/HND/HNC in Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior engineering role.
- Comprehensive understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines within the water sector.
- Strong project management skills encompassing all phases of project development, design, construction, and commissioning.
- Experience in preconstruction design and cost evaluation.
- Proficiency in design estimation and cost planning.
- Proven experience in personnel management.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to foster cooperation from a diverse range of stakeholders, including upper management and clients.
- Experience in managing NEC contracts is advantageous.
- Background in the water sector is highly desirable, though experience in other specialized engineering fields will be considered.
