Test Service Manager for London Markets – Competitive Salary.
We are pleased to announce a remarkable opportunity for a dynamic senior test portfolio manager with experience in the London Market Insurance sector to join our Release & Test community at Aviva. We are committed to enhancing our IT infrastructure within our Global Corporate Specialty Market, and this pivotal role will be instrumental in shaping and executing the Test Strategy.

Overview of the Role:

As the Test Service Manager for London Markets, your responsibilities will include:

Leading the testing team, fostering a quality-first mindset in testing, and overseeing the delivery of testing results across the London Markets. You will assess the risk landscape for this Market to facilitate timely risk mitigations in testing. Championing continuous improvement initiatives, responsible for establishing baseline testing metrics to drive optimization, efficiency, automation, and quality enhancements to ensure favorable customer outcomes. You will make informed decisions based on thorough data analysis. Demonstrating exceptional collaboration skills with a proven track record of working alongside senior Business & IT leaders. You will exemplify inspirational leadership of a combined team comprising both permanent and partner resources to achieve quality outcomes. Providing timely and clear communication to stakeholders, reporting on progress and risks to key individuals including the Head of Platform, IT Business Partner, Head of Release & Test, Business SMEs, and Product Owners.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Comprehensive understanding of the London Market Insurance landscape and familiarity with the Lloyds Blueprint 2 program, including various messaging and common data standards. Proven experience in implementing and maintaining testing frameworks, data strategies, and test automation roadmaps tailored for both senior stakeholders and technical audiences. Capability to engage with and manage suppliers within a complex environment, defining and executing testing processes across multiple projects at Aviva. Experience in mentoring and coaching both permanent and partner team members is essential. Establishing positive relationships with stakeholders through a consultative approach and advanced knowledge of test measurement and reporting. In-depth understanding of defining and managing risks, issues, and interdependencies as they pertain to projects and programs.
