About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Compliance Specialist to join our team at Royal London. As a key member of our Marketing and Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our financial promotions and marketing materials are compliant with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the FCA's financial promotions rules and will be able to provide expert guidance and support to our marketing teams. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving financial promotions and documents, as well as providing compliance advice and guidance to our Proposition & Strategy and RLAM Marketing teams.

About the Responsibilities

  • Assess and approve financial promotions and documents across the UK and international markets.
  • Provide marketing compliance support and guidance to all areas of the Proposition & Strategy and RLAM Marketing team.
  • Be the first point of contact for compliance queries and investment management queries.
  • Conduct control testing of the financial promotions review and approval process.
  • Deliver training to the Marketing Compliance team and members of the RLAM Marketing team to increase their knowledge.
  • Deliver compliance insight by monitoring regulatory developments at the FCA.

About the Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a Marketing Compliance role within an Asset Management firm is essential.
  • Knowledge of the FCA financial promotions rules and wider regulatory environment and framework is essential.
  • Experience in international regulatory frameworks would be advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of investment matters in UCITS and AIFMD.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders in the business.
  • Languages would be beneficial but not essential.
