Senior Test Service Manager for London Markets – Competitive Salary.
We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity for a seasoned test portfolio manager with extensive experience in the London Market Insurance sector to join our Release & Test community at Aviva. This role is pivotal as we embark on a transformative journey to enhance our IT infrastructure within our Global Corporate Specialty Market.

Overview of the Role:

As the Senior Test Service Manager for London Markets, your responsibilities will include:

Directing the testing team, fostering a quality-first mindset in testing practices, and overseeing the delivery of testing results across the London Markets. You will assess the risk landscape to facilitate timely risk mitigation strategies. Championing continuous improvement initiatives, you will be responsible for establishing baseline testing metrics aimed at driving optimization, efficiency, automation, and quality enhancements to ensure favorable customer outcomes. Your decisions will be informed by thorough data analysis. Demonstrating exceptional collaboration skills, you will work closely with senior Business and IT leaders, showcasing your ability to inspire a cohesive team of both permanent and partner resources to achieve quality results. Ensuring timely and clear communication with stakeholders, you will report on progress and risks to key figures including the Head of Platform, IT Business Partner, Head of Release & Test, Business Subject Matter Experts, and Product Owners.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Profound knowledge of the London Market Insurance sector and familiarity with the Lloyds Blueprint 2 initiative, including various messaging and common data standards. Proven experience in implementing and sustaining testing frameworks, data strategies, and automation roadmaps tailored for both senior stakeholders and technical teams. Capability to engage with and manage suppliers in a complex environment, defining and executing testing processes across multiple projects at Aviva. Experience in mentoring and coaching team members is essential. Building positive relationships with stakeholders through a consultative approach and advanced understanding of testing metrics and reporting. Comprehensive understanding of risk, issue, and interdependency management as they pertain to projects and programs.
