We are seeking a Senior Manager of Investment Marketing Strategy to join our dynamic Marketing team at Royal London Asset Management (RLAM). This pivotal role is designed to enhance our marketing efforts and support our growth objectives.

As a Senior Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that engages our target audience. Collaborating closely with the Investment Writing team, you will identify key themes that resonate with our Client Group.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting a marketing strategy that elevates awareness and fosters familiarity with our core investment offerings.
  • Establishing a detailed content plan aligned with business goals to facilitate sales initiatives.
  • Collaborating with the Investment Writing team to produce engaging articles and content for various channels.
  • Partnering with Channel marketing leads to define strategic positioning and manage campaign execution.
  • Working alongside investment specialists to develop core messaging frameworks and enhance our storytelling capabilities.
  • Creating compelling narratives at the capability level that translate into effective promotional materials.
  • Strategically allocating resources to balance activities that drive brand consideration and product sales.
  • Delivering insightful thought leadership that aligns with our commercial objectives and enhances brand credibility.
  • Overseeing award submissions and providing copywriting support for digital platforms as needed.

About You

  • In-depth knowledge of the asset management sector, including various asset classes and capabilities.
  • Proven experience in team leadership or management.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; a background in journalism is a plus.
  • Strong research abilities that translate into engaging narratives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks applicable to content.
  • Solid knowledge of the competitive landscape within asset management to effectively position our offerings.
