Program Overview
Capstone Investment Advisors is seeking bright and motivated candidates to join their investment teams for a summer internship. The internship is a 10-week program that provides a unique opportunity to learn about various investment strategies and gain hands-on experience in the financial industry.
Key Program Components
- Project-Based Learning: Interns will be given a project that is both educational and a value add to the business, which they will present to the senior leadership team at the end of the summer.
- Educational Sessions: Interns will attend educational sessions given by senior leadership, covering topics such as investment strategies, market analysis, and financial modeling.
- Team Building and Relationship Building: The program includes team building exercises and encourages relationship building with the firm, providing interns with a comprehensive understanding of the investment industry.
Investment Pod Placements
Interns will have the opportunity to work in various investment pods, including Sovereign Rates Relative Value, Global Equity Volatility, Quantitative, Convertible Bond Arbitrage, Equity Capital Markets, and more. This will provide interns with a broad understanding of the investment industry and the opportunity to develop their skills in a specific area.
Desirable Candidates
- Bachelor's or Master's students in a quantitative field, including Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Applied Math and Statistics.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar language.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrable passion for financial markets.
Internship Locations
