We are seeking an Investment Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team at Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) on a permanent basis.

This newly established position is crucial for driving our future growth initiatives.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the Senior Manager of Investment Marketing in developing a robust Content Strategy for the organization, engaging across various channels and partnering with the Investment Writing team to identify pertinent themes that will benefit our Client Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager to define a content marketing strategy that enhances awareness, fosters familiarity, and encourages consideration of our primary investment capabilities.
  • Assist in creating a comprehensive content plan that aligns with core business objectives to support sales efforts.
  • Identify relevant themes and produce engaging articles/content for use across multiple channels.
  • Work closely with Channel marketing leads to implement the strategy, positioning, and campaign management plans.
  • Partner with the Investment Writing team and heads of investment desks to develop positioning and establish core messaging frameworks.
  • Craft distinctive and engaging narratives at a capability level, ensuring alignment with specific product promotional materials.
  • Deliver insights and thought leadership that align with commercial goals, enhancing the brand's depth and credibility.
  • Collaborate with Investment Writing and compliance teams to ensure all content is appropriate and compliant for the intended audience.
  • Assist in writing submissions for awards and creating copy for web and social media.
  • Promote content sharing to enhance efficiency across both RLAM and the broader Group.

About You

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; a background in journalism is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the asset management sector, including knowledge of asset classes and capabilities.
  • Proficient research skills that translate into compelling narratives.
  • Familiarity with FCA regulations as they pertain to content.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the asset management competitive landscape to effectively position the organization.
