Job Summary

  • Job Title: Administrative Apprentice
  • Job Location: Ellesmere Port (with 1 day release to college)
  • Working Hours: 35 hours (Monday to Friday - 9am to 5pm)
  • Salary: £8 per hour

As an apprentice, reporting into the UK QHSSE Manager, you will work closely with our experienced Health and Safety Team to gain hands-on practical experience in providing a key administrative support function for all parts of the UK Business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the UK QHSSE database
  • Inputting data into various platforms - pulling reports
  • Following up and responding to queries internally and externally
  • Assisting in compiling information packs for external customers
  • Assisting colleagues with administrative support for assigned projects

Requirements

  • Enthusiasm to Learn: A genuine interest in business administration, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Previous work experience: Desirable to have some administrative experience, but not essential if this can be demonstrated with higher education projects
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • Communication Skills: Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels and handle queries effectively
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is desirable
  • Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (grade C/4 or above). A-levels or equivalent qualifications are advantageous but not essential
  • Driving License: This is not essential
