As a Service Planner at Hiab, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to the CSC activities of the Service department. Your primary responsibility will be to liaise with customers to provide a consistently high level of customer service, responding to their enquiries and adapting to their needs in a demanding commercial environment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries for breakdowns and servicing, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Liaise with Depot, ASCs, and Central Service team regarding all aspects of on-call or service contracts
• Manage and control the maintenance service contract process, schedules, and administration
• Maintain local inventory and parts required for service appointments
• Raise quotes, estimates, and invoices for chargeable work
• Assist in managing profitability and costs for depot operations
• Provide technical support where possible
• Adhere to Company processes and procedures
• Observe all safety procedures and instructions, reporting any accidents, hazards, or defects to your line manager or Health and Safety
• Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions and company safety rules/procedures

Requirements

• GCSE level
• Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced commercial environment
• SAP system knowledge is preferable but not essential
• Good IT skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confidence and comfort in interfacing with customers, other departments, and stakeholders
• Self-motivation, ability to work under pressure, and operate with minimal supervision
• Team player with flexibility regarding tasks performed
• Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment
