Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Transformation Programme Director to lead the delivery of a complex and significant transformation programme for one of our major clients in the Northern Ireland Public Sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of business change and service transformation, infrastructure provision and integration, and large-scale implementation across all programme workstreams using best practice methodologies.
  • Manage client relationships through informal reviews, formal programme governance, and accurate reporting, while establishing crucial relationships with the Customer's Internal Team and Senior Stakeholders.
  • Oversee our Key Subcontractors, Vendors, and other third parties vital to the project's success.
  • Manage programme risks and issues, evaluating critical aspects and contingencies.
  • Ensure a seamless transition to Managed Service with minimal impact on our Customer's Stakeholders and End Users.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in transformation programmes encompassing requirements gathering, planning, governance, interdependency management, risk and issue management, decision-making, benefits realization, programme resourcing, financial management and budgeting, change management, communication, and status reporting.
  • Substantial experience in managing significant Business Change and Transformation programmes within the Northern Ireland Public Sector.
  • Driving efficiencies and synergies in delivering multiple workstreams across a large programme of work.
  • Leveraging critical capabilities within the Programme teams to optimize budget allocation.
  • Ensuring effective cost and resource control to deliver workstreams/projects within the program within budget, quality, and time constraints.
  • Managing relationships with Senior Stakeholders and third parties.
  • Overseeing relationships with Key Subcontractors and Vendors.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in Project Management and various methodologies, ideally holding certifications such as Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP, MSP, or similar.
  • 3rd level qualification in a relevant field or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in large transformation projects, delivering efficiencies and business benefits across traditional silos and business units, capable of managing programs and staff by fostering a conducive and productive environment for successful delivery.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, the ability to engage with all levels within an organization from frontline employees to the CEO, and the skill to garner consensus among diverse groups.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Programme Manager.
  • Experience in engaging with Senior Stakeholders.
