Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, motivated, and highly skilled Transformation Programme Leader to assume overall accountability for the execution and management of a comprehensive and complex transformation initiative for one of our key clients in the public sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete delivery of organizational change and service enhancement, infrastructure development, and integration, along with all facets of large-scale implementation across various programme workstreams utilizing best practice methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of the transformation programme, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage client relationships through informal reviews, formal governance structures, and precise reporting.
  • Establish and nurture essential relationships with the client’s internal teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Supervise key subcontractors, vendors, and other third parties critical to the project's success.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Essential Experience
  • Proven track record in managing substantial transformation initiatives within the public sector.
  • Expertise in driving efficiencies across multiple workstreams within a large programme.
  • Ability to optimize budget allocation by leveraging critical capabilities within programme teams.
  • Experience in ensuring effective cost and resource management to deliver projects within established constraints.
  • Strong skills in managing relationships with senior stakeholders and third-party partners.
  • Proficient in risk and issue management, ensuring a seamless transition to managed services.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in project management methodologies, with relevant certifications such as Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP, or MSP.
  • A relevant third-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a programme management role.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Agile and proactive approach, adept at managing ambiguity and rapid changes.
