Job Summary

VanRath is seeking a seasoned IT Transformation Director to lead a complex change programme in the Public Sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a transformation programme that drives business value and improves operational efficiency.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver a complex transformation programme, requiring strong leadership and programme management skills.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programme plan, including business cases, governance frameworks, and financial budgets.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and communicate effectively with senior leaders, programme sponsors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure programme delivery meets the required standards, quality, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to address programme dependencies.
  • Develop and implement a benefits realisation plan to ensure programme benefits are realised and sustained.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of leading complex change programmes in the Public Sector, with a strong understanding of IT transformation and outsourcing.
  • Extensive experience in programme delivery, governance, and assurance, with a focus on business cases, financial management, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and programme management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to deliver results.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders and programme sponsors.
  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, project management, or IT.
