Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, passionate, and highly skilled Transformation Programme Leader to take charge of a comprehensive and complex transformation initiative for one of our prominent clients in the public sector. In this role, you will be responsible for the complete delivery of business transformation and service enhancement, infrastructure development, and integration, along with all aspects of large-scale execution across various programme workstreams utilizing industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall programme delivery and governance, providing support and direction to senior management stakeholders.
  • Define the scope of the programme and establish workstreams effectively.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, subcontractors, and third parties to create a detailed Implementation Programme Plan, ensuring mechanisms are in place for ongoing review and updates.
  • Proactively manage dependencies, issues, and risks across workstreams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Engage with business owners and programme stakeholders to assist in meeting project timelines.
  • Effectively manage escalations to mitigate any negative impact on overall programme delivery.
  • Support the establishment of standardized IT governance processes in accordance with the programme's governance framework.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to executive leadership.
  • Manage relationships with partners, vendors, and third-party entities.
  • Promote best practices throughout the programme and collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate successful outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies, with relevant certifications such as Prince 2 Practitioner, PMP, or MSP.
  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale transformation projects, delivering efficiencies across various business units.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Agile and proactive mindset, capable of navigating ambiguity and adapting to rapid changes.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a programme management role.
  • Experience in engaging with senior stakeholders effectively.
