Role Overview

An exceptional opportunity has emerged for a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the Specialist Palliative and End of Life Care Team.

To oversee a dedicated caseload in Specialist Palliative Care and End of Life services. To engage in a comprehensive range of responsibilities aligned with the Clinical Nurse Specialist role. To cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with various groups, communities, and organizations. To facilitate the design and implementation of care programs tailored to patient needs while enhancing service delivery.

Position Details

This role entails providing high-quality specialist palliative nursing care, advanced symptom management, guidance, education, and support to patients, families, and caregivers. You will collaborate closely with other Clinical Nurse Specialists and medical teams, offering expert advice and support for patients requiring Specialist Palliative and End of Life care.

As a Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work in partnership with the Palliative Care Consultant and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure the highest standards of nursing care for patients and families facing complex palliative care and symptom management needs.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate compassion, enthusiasm, and motivation, acting with integrity while respecting diversity. Proficient IT skills are essential, along with a commitment to excellence and a flexible, adaptable work approach.

We seek an individual capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong leadership, innovation, motivation, and exceptional communication skills are vital.
