We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Band 6 Lead Clinical Nurse to become part of our welcoming and dynamic Nursing team. In this role, you will oversee the department and operate within the Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), necessitating exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities. The successful candidate will showcase ongoing professional development that aligns with personal aspirations, team requirements, and organizational goals. You will hold delegated authority during your shifts to manage patient flow effectively. Regular deputization in the absence of your Line Manager will be expected.

Working in Acute Medicine is both challenging and fulfilling, promoting innovation, fresh ideas, and personal growth with the backing of our clinical education team. The SDEC is a nurse-led facility, focusing on the assessment and management of DVT patients. You will collaborate with Advanced Clinical Practitioners in evaluating patients referred directly by GPs to the SDEC nursing team, while also providing support to the emergency department and other areas within the organization.

Work Schedule: This position requires flexibility, including long days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays to accommodate service demands.
