Senior Recovery Practitioner/Nurse

About the Role
The East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Recovery Practitioner/Nurse to join our dynamic team in Theatres at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.
Main Responsibilities
- Support and maintain a high standard of patient care for a wide variety of procedures, including Orthopaedics, Vascular, Urology, ENT, Maxillofacial, Robotic surgery, EVT, and Mechanical Thrombectomy.
- Work in accordance with Trust and departmental policies, and participate in the on-call out-of-hours rota.
- Develop leadership skills and experience in the management of the Theatre Co-ordinator, leading the team to ensure efficient and effective nursing and theatre practice.
- Implement appropriate changes based on research and best practice, and act as a role model and facilitator/mentor/preceptor to members of the team.
- Provide and maintain effective communication with the multidisciplinary team, both within and out of the operating departments.
