Service Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Administrator. This role will involve providing administrative support for two of our services, The Referral Support Service and 24hr Ambulatory ECG service.
Main Responsibilities- Process and manage referral data from GP Practices and Opticians, troubleshooting queries as needed.
- Develop strong working relationships with administrative staff across different organizations and communicate effectively with patients regarding patient choice and appointments.
- Use the NHS e-Referral system, SystmOne, and EMIS to support GP Practice and Provider administrators.
- Handle referral queries from patients, GP Practices, Opticians, and Provider organizations.
- Maintain accurate records using spreadsheets and databases.
West Norfolk Health is a membership organization consisting of 21 GP surgeries, supporting a patient population of across a range of demographics. We facilitate local transformation, understanding and supporting GP surgeries to adopt the latest national and local changes required by the NHS and commissioners.
Person Specification- Good standard of education, including GCSE grade B or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to deal with change and the demands of the post.
- Maintain confidentiality and good interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
- Working in the local NHS.
- Working with NHS e-Referral.
- Working with TPP SystmOne.
- Working with EMIS.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Communicating with patients.
