Position Overview:

As a Revenue Controller at Investigo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. Your expertise will be essential in monitoring and managing revenue streams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Oversight: Conduct daily reviews of global automated Profit & Loss statements and revenue reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Trade Flow Analysis: Investigate trade flow discrepancies and assess their impact on revenue.
  • Revenue Accounting Review: Evaluate both manual and automated revenue accounting entries based on the General Ledger rule matrix.
  • Sub-ledger Mapping: Facilitate the mapping of sub-ledger (PHASE 3) to the Ledger (Oracle).
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various finance teams, including Trading desks, Operations, Middle Office, and IT departments.
  • Monthly Reporting: Monitor and report on monthly positions, fails, and pending items.
  • Transfer Pricing Review: Analyze Transfer Pricing (MODEL B) models and their accounting implications.
  • Balance Sheet Oversight: Review balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Revenue Control Monitoring: Keep a close watch on Revenue Control Accounts.
  • Monthly PL Calls: Participate in monthly Profit & Loss discussions and review variance analyses prepared by team members.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Generate and provide global revenue reports to senior management and other departments as needed.
  • SOX Certification Review: Assess SOX Certification documents for compliance.
  • Audit Support: Assist external auditors during statutory audits.
  • Project Involvement: Engage in system and product migration projects.
  • Team Management: Oversee, review, and support the team throughout the Revenue Control process.
  • Issue Escalation: Utilize effective escalation strategies to highlight issues promptly, focusing on recurring problems and driving enhancement projects and system improvements.
