Business Development and Sales Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Executive to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing new business and managing existing accounts in the East Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth targets in the East Midlands region.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Assist in the development of the company's future sales strategy, working closely with the sales team and other departments.
  • Manage tender processes for potential new customers, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Communicate and implement cost increases to customers, maintaining strong relationships.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and internal coordinators, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience, preferably in the waste industry.
  • Full/clean driving license.
  • A-Level in Chemistry (or science-based subject) is desirable.
